Hello and thankyou for entering my web-page

Please pass on to your friends.
At the beginning of the year I released my debut album ‘Second Chance’
Scored a nomination in the TIARA Awards at Tamworth, for Vocal Collaboration with Randall Waller.
April 12th, 2008, my first radio single ‘Hello’, hits # 47 on the country charts
July 12th, 2008 ‘I don’t want to fall to pieces’, is currently charting at # 36 on the country charts
I would like to take this opportunity to send out a huge THANK YOU to all Commercial and Community stations for your interviews, airplay and most importantly your support.
During the ‘Hats off to country’, I had the pleasure of performing ‘How’s your journey goin’, as part of Brenda-Lee Heathcote’s album launch ‘Light of Hope’, in support of the Victims of homicide Foundation
A beautiful song written by Brenda-Lee and an honour to have performed on this beautiful album
I am currently in negotiations with Hardrush Country’s CEO Kelvin Fahey who has shown great interest in ‘Second Chance” and my songwriting talent. Kelvin has stated ‘Sharon is a solid performer with great vocals and impressive songwriting. We are very interested in being part of her career path in country music’.
I will keep you posted.
The Dreaming Festival was excellent and it was great to
catch up with some great people like Jimmy Little, Troy
Casser-Daly, the Merrg, Warren Williams and Casey Donovan. Rhoda Roberts
always hosts a great festival. I would like to thank
Rhoda, the elders and all the organisers of this
wonderful festival for inviting me to perform.
During the first week in August I’ll be heading out west
to Walgett, Collarenebri and Lightning Ridge to conduct
a number of songwriting workshops designed for the
school students in the surrounding district culminating
with a performance on the Friday evening. I truly enjoy
visiting the rural regions and meeting the community.
Hope to see some of you out in the West!
Take care for now
Lots of love
Shaz
xx
